"IT AINT JUST A RIVER IN EGYPT" is a mural that was commissioned by the Seattle Art Museum in the summer of 2020. Initially it was meant to be a mural to reflect the Black Lives Matter movement, but it instead became a work reflecting denial and responsibility in order to bring joy, hope and a better future.

The Seattle Art Museum's board ultimately decided to purchase the 40' mural to keep as part of their permanent collection. It now hangs in the front of the entrance greeting everyone as they come in.
